  Laboratory tablet press operating skills:

  1. The tablet press must add lubricant to all oil cups, oil holes and friction surfaces before use, and idling to fill the friction surface with oil film to extend the life of the machine.

  2. Before and after each shift, you must manually test a few pieces and then turn on the electric tablet without problems, which can extend the life of the mold.

  3. Save the mold: After cleaning, apply a layer of food grade lubricant (oil, edible oil), put it in a special protective box or mold storage box, put it on the shelf, and mark the size. Save on the shelf.

  4. Screen the material with a laboratory tablet press prior to tableting to avoid loose debris, leaf and disc weight differences caused by the material during tableting.

  5. Selection of sheet type (mold): Correct selection of sheet type is a successful step of tableting mold. For example, chewable tablets have higher hardness requirements and are easier to chew, and most of them use beveled flat panels; the film coating can be selected as a dimple shape. In the case of a raw material, the raw material does not contain a binder or a lubricant, and a pressure is required when the tablet is compressed, and the sheet type is preferably shallow. For tablets having a large sugar content, the sheet design is preferably shallow or flat. Medium-sized molds can use alloy steel or cemented carbide. Deep concave molds are easily damaged and used as little as possible.

  6. When removing the upper mold, press the mold with a clamp (to prevent the scorpion from hitting the column and cause damage, put a small piece of wood on the pliers), hold the handle with one hand, and hold the pliers hand with the other hand. Remove the upper die.

  7. When installing the mold, if you touch the intermediate mold directly, you can operate the mold. At this point, put a piece of wood on the platen and shake the handle!

  8. After daily use, remove the remaining powder and wipe off all parts of the machine. If the deactivation is long, the mold must be removed and rubbed on both sides of the machine. Wipe the work surface, apply anti-rust oil, and cover with dust-proof clothing; wipe the mold clean and immerse it in oil to save.
